With 19 years of experience in the video game industry, Ryan has left his mark on various platforms, from PC and Nintendo consoles to mobile devices and VR headsets. His expertise lies in crafting immersive and story-driven worlds that captivate players' imaginations. 

Notable highlights from Ryan's career include his contributions to MMO games based on popular franchises like World of JumpStart and The Madagascar Penguins. His work on the Math Blaster series, spanning online MMOs, mobile games, and Nintendo DS titles, showcases his versatility and creativity. Ryan's involvement in bringing the Jumpstart brand to the Nintendo Wii further demonstrates his adaptability across different gaming platforms. 

A significant milestone in Ryan's career was his decade-long role as the Art Lead on the School of Dragons online MMO. This game, inspired by the How to Train Your Dragon movies, became a beloved experience for players on both PC and mobile devices. 

This past year Ryan embarked on a passion project close to his heart: recreating the Indiana Jones Adventure attraction as a VR experience. Combining two of his creative inspirations, Indiana Jones and Disney Theme parks, this project highlights Ryan's dedication to pushing the boundaries of immersive storytelling. 

Ryan recently completed a contract working for The Walt Disney Company as a Technical Artist in the Disney Parks, Experiences and Products division.

Ryan, a former Disneyland Cast Member and test rider, brings a unique perspective to the project. Using his expertise in theme park design and virtual reality development, Ryan created a full version of the Indiana Jones Adventure attraction that can be experienced with the Oculus Meta Quest VR headset. Attention all horror fans! Ryan, the creator and owner of Virtual Screams, has been designing and creating some of the most bizarre and horrifying VR experiences out there. In fact, his work has been showcased at several past Midsummer Scream Halloween Conventions in Long Beach, CA. New experiences for Virtual Screams are currently under development for a future release date. Get ready to immerse yourself in some of the most spine-chilling and hair-raising VR experiences you've ever encountered. Exciting news for all the pop culture art enthusiasts in Orange County! Ryan, the Co-Creator and Co-Curator of PopZilla Gallery, has been hosting themed pop culture art shows since 2012 with fellow artist Sam Carter. The gallery has been hosted in various locations across Orange County, and their past shows can be seen on their Facebook page. What's even more impressive is that past PopZilla artists are currently involved in the Art Tribute shows hosted at Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, CA. When not working in 3D, Ryan lends his talents to 2D illustration, producing licensed enamel pin and t-shirt designs for popular franchises like Bob’s Burgers, Futurama, and Minecraft. These products can be viewed on this site and are available through Toddland.com

Ryan has been a guest artist for seasonal art shows at Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park, California. Combining his deep appreciation for the park’s history with his artistic expertise, Ryan has contributed numerous illustrations to the “Tied Up in Knott’s” tribute show, featured annually during the Boysenberry Festival. A lifelong fan of Knott’s Scary Farm, his involvement in the “Into the Fog” tribute art show is a personal passion project, celebrating both past and present mazes through detailed, stylized artwork. Currently, Ryan is expanding his creative pursuits into the world of 3D printing, bringing iconic Scary Farm monsters to life through original sculpture.

Early in his career Ryan had the opportunity to help bring his favorite Comic-Book hero Spider-Man to movie screens everywhere. As a Costume effects Artist Ryan was responsible for the application of the web patterns onto the fabric and then joining the webs over the seams once the suits were sewn together. When Spider-Man 2 started production Ryan returned and this time was also responsible for the application of all the chest spiders on all costumes for the film.
